Our Mission At Future WAVE we work to equip people with perspectives and skills that promote positive communication, healthy relationships, and conflict prevention and resolution. We fulfill this mission by providing programs and services to schools, libraries, family-serving agencies, and public and private sector organizations.

F.E.A.S.T! (Familes Eating and Storytelling Together) A nationwide initiative pioneered by Future WAVE.  When families sit down together at mealtime, children are less likely to become involved with drugs, alchohol and tobacco. We host community events  and implement workshops that support healthy family communication while building bridges of understanding and respect between generations and cultures. Family Literacy Workshops Lively, interactive and joyful activities help parents learn how to share the joy of children's books and family stories, paving the way for a lifelong love of books, reading and stories. We offer evening, half day, and day long workshops. We also plan and lead family 'story' hikes, picnics, and reunions.	Conflict Prevention and Resolution Gandhi reminds us that "peace is not the abscence of war- it is the presence of peace." In that spirit our programs begin by imagining the community and world we want to live in and then examining the changes we can make as individuals and as a group to move closer to that world.  Bullying is widely recognized as a serious problem with consequenes for the victims, the bullies and bystanders  in schools, the home and workplace. BULLYPROOF incorporates elements of nationally recognized best practices, and adds our story inquiry and coaching for behavior approach, to transform the cycle of violence.  Organizational Communication Would your organization benefit from improved communication and stronger relationships between colleagues and with your clients?  Let us help.
